Advent calendar FAQ
When does the printable advent calendar start?
It starts on December 1 and ends on December 24, 2026, so there is one box for each of the 24 days before Christmas Day. December 1, 2026 is a Tuesday and December 24 is a Thursday.
When is the first Sunday of Advent in 2026?
The first Sunday of Advent in 2026 is November 29, the fourth Sunday before Christmas Day. Most printable advent calendars, including this one, still count down from December 1.
Which version should I print?
The ready-made countdown has big numbers to color in or cross off, one per day. The blank version has writing lines in every box, so you can plan a small activity, treat or note for each day.
Should I choose A4 or US Letter?
Choose US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) in the US and Canada and A4 elsewhere. Both PDFs are portrait, one page, and print at 100% scale.
Is the advent calendar free?
Yes. The PDFs are free for personal, family and classroom use, with no sign-up and no watermark.
